Session 7
Week 7:
This week were elevator pitches, we havn't really spoke about it collectively in class yet but i have been working on my idea individually. My ideas keep evolving and merging into new styles and aesthetics and has recently become a bit of a hybrid. While researching on pinterest i found some magazine and zine covers that have helped me to evolve my ideas.
My own experiments are my own take on the zine covers that inspired me and david carsons work on magazine covers. I like the 'Magazine aesthetic' and i really like the use of dull and muted colours, i think it gives the poster a much more 'vintage' feel which is an effect i would like to try and to create in my project.
A lot of these pay homage to if not are similar to David carson's work on the 'Blah Blah' magazine. david carsons work on blah blah magazine is something i have been interesting from the start of this course which inspires me further to create something similar to that.
Experiments
